I am excited to become a part of the Bee Sober community and am looking forward to working with a Community Interest Company that is forward thinking and passionate about what they do. I have been privileged to see first-hand the good work that Bee Sober does in supporting people to understand their relationship with alcohol and help guide them to a place where they feel more empowered with that relationship.
As a fully qualified counsellor I integrate different therapeutic approaches depending on what we are working through. I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, coping with addictions, bereavement and loss, anger management amongst other concerns I also help people who have experienced sexual abuse, rape, and domestic violence.
My counselling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
My approach is informed by Humanistic (Person Centred) Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychoanalytic, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis.
There is no doubt that seeking help can be very hard, however, I feel counselling is one of the best gifts one can give to themselves. It takes a lot of strength and courage to work towards a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support you.
